The Penderwicks on Gardam Street

Have your parents ever dated? Well, four years after the Penderwicks mom died, the Penderwick’s dad started dating again. His daughters (Rosalind, Skye, Jane, and Batty) are trying to find the worst dates ever. It works, and he gets some pretty bad dates. Will he ever find love again?

I really liked this book. One reason is because it is exciting. An example of this is when the Penderwicks dad goes out on his first date and comes back yelling stuff in Latin. Another reason I like this book is because all the characters are different. For example, Jane is a writer and Skye is not. 

I like this book a lot and would recommend it to anyone. I would give this book five paws.

The Penderwicks

The Penderwicks is a book about four sisters named Batty, Skye, Jane, and Rosalind. It all starts when their dads rents a cottage at Arundel and they find them self in lots of trouble. They go on many marvelous adventures. Will their lives ever be the same? 

I like this book because of all the adventure. An example is when Skye finds a the secret tunnel and goes through it and finds Mrs. Tifton`s gardens. Another example would be when their dog, Hound, gets out and he they totally destroys Mrs. Tifton`s gardens.

I loved this book, and would I give it five paws.
