The Great Candy Caper!

Mrs. Isaacs gave our class three pieces of candy: cherry, sour, and licorice. She then asked us to write what we did and didn't like. Listed below are our opinions. Last Monday, we tasted three types of candy one was cherry, the other sour, and the last was licorice.

I liked the sour the best because the sour coating and the inside was still sour. It wasn't too sour, and it wasn't too sweet.

The licorice was very strong, and tasted like root beer. That’s why I didn't like it.                                                     

The cherry was a little too sweet; I think they needed a little less sugar.

That’s why I liked the sour the best.

Last week, Ms. Isaacs came into my classroom and gave my class 3 types of candy: sour, cherry, and licorice. My personal favorite was the sour. I liked how it was drenched with sour granules and was squishy.

My least favorite was the licorice. I didn't like the rotten taste and how strong it was.

The cherry candy was Okay. I liked how it was chewy, soft and sweet. I didn't like how it stuck to my teeth, and it needed more cherry flavor.

Over all, my favorite was the sour I liked how it was covered with sugar and was squishy. That’s why I liked the sour above all the others.

Last week our class got three types of candy: sour, cherry, and black licorice. Mrs. Isaacs brought them in for us.

Sour was appley and was still sour even after all the coating was off. That was good because a lot of candies don’t have that type of center. It was sticky so it stuck on my teeth; this is the only reason that I didn't like it. It also tasted like a caramel apple, which I love! The caramel apple part saved it from going on 2^nd best. So I think, by far that sour was the best.

Cherry was second best. It was sweet, chewy, and sticky. For some weird reason it made my tonsils feel sticky. So it is 2^nd best, it would have made 1^st but it was stuck in my throat.

Black licorice was the worst and it smelled foul and was way too strong! It felt rough and it left a horrible after taste. The 2 words that describe this type of candy are strong and awful. So I think that Black licorice was by far the worst.   And that’s why I liked sour the best.

Last week, Mrs. Isaacs wanted our opinion about three candies: cherry, sour, and licorice. She gave us each candy and we all tried them. I thought sour was the best.

First was the cherry candy. I took little bites before eating the whole thing because I didn't know how it would taste.  It was heart-shaped and with cherry jelly inside. I thought it was sweet, sticky, juicy and had little hint of sour. Overall, I think cherry candy was pretty good.

Second was the sour candy, which wasn't as sour as I thought. It was sticky, sour, chewy and also sweet. I liked the sour candy the best because I like other sour candies like Sour Patch Kids.

Last was licorice, which in my opinion wasn't really as great as the other candies.  The licorice was very strong and tasted like root beer. Also the licorice was sticky and chewy at the same time. 

Overall the best candy was sour candy, the second cherry candy and last was the licorice.

Last week, we tasted 3 different kinds of candies. One was sour, one was cherry, and one was black licorice. There were many things that were not in the candy. Like gluten free, and many other things.  

The cherry candy was sweet, sugary, very chewy, and it needed a little more cherry in it. It stuck to my teeth and had a good after taste. It was hard on the outside, but chewy on the inside.

The black licorice candy was really chewy and sticky. It also stuck in my teeth and smelled like cookies. It tasted like root beer and had a bad after taste.

The sour candy was sour and chewy. It tasted like cherry and it stuck to my teeth. It was soft and had a good after taste.

My favorite candy was the sour candy. I liked the sour candy the best because it was not very sour and it tasted like cherry. Cherry is my favorite kind of candy

Last week, we tried pieces of candy. I liked the sour candy the best because it was chewy and it fizzled in my mouth. And I like sour, it tastes really good.

The cherry candy was my second favorite type because it tasted like coffee, sour, and cherry combined.

The licorice candy was my least favorite type because it tasted like root beer, and I don’t like root beer that much.

Last week, I got three different candies: sour, cherry and licorice. My favorite was the sour. I liked it better than the other two candies because I liked how it was sour all the way throughout, not just on the coating. I thought the cherry tasted too much like chocolate, and I thought the licorice was too strong. That is why I liked sour candy the best.

     The sour candy had a sweet fruity flavor; it was my favorite because it was sour on inside and the outside. It was really chewy, but it didn’t get stuck in my teeth.

     The cherry candy wasn’t cherry enough. It had a chocolate flavor instead of cherry. The flavor stayed in my mouth and my tonsils felt sticky.

     The licorice had a strong root beer flavor; it was my least favorite because the taste of it stayed in my mouth after I got a drink of water. I couldn’t feel my tongue afterward.

      The sour candy was my favorite because it was sour on the inside and the outside. The licorice was my least favorite because the flavor stayed in my mouth after I got a drink of water.

LAST week, Mrs. Isaacs came in and gave us free candy. The cherry candy was the best! It was so sweet; I could eat it all day long. I like it because it is sweet and chewy and soft at the same time.  

The sour candy was the second best because it was really chewy. I was chewing for five minutes. It was pretty good!

The licorice was the worst candy ever. It tasted like root beer. I don’t even like root beer!

Over all the cherry candy was the best.

Cherry was my favorite candy because it had a sweet taste and it was round and hard.

Sour was okay because I’m not a big fan, but it was still good. It tasted like juicy candy and it was soft.

Licorice was good and bad. It tasted like root beer, but it was too strong, and it was hard to chew. It even it got stuck in my teeth.

And that’s why I liked cherry the best.

 Last week, Mrs. Isaccs came to Mrs. Hazzard’s classroom and brought cherry, sour, and Scottish licorice candy.

My favorite candy was the cherry because it tasted fresh. : )

My second favorite was the sour. I thought I was going to need a drink of water, but I was really surprised it was not sour.

My least favorite was the Scottish licorice. It was not what I was expecting.  I had to get a drink of water really bad. It took my breath away … wow.

That’s why I liked the cherry the best!

Last Monday, we had three different kinds of candy. We had cherry, sour, and licorice candy.                                                   

I liked the sour candy the best because I think it was a little tart. I don’t think it was sour compared to other candy like sour patch kids and lemon heads. I would still recommend the sour candy though.

The cherry candy tasted like coffee with a pinch of sugar. I would recommend this to somebody.                                                                              

                                                                                                                    Last but not least, was the black licorice candy. I liked the taste of the root beer, but I wouldn’t recommend the licorice candy. I didn’t like it because it was way too strong. Also, because I just never liked black licorice. The last reason is because it was so chewy I couldn’t get it out of my teeth.

That’s why I liked the sour candy the best.
