Crossover Movie Review

There is a high school kid that plays street ball. He has lost the last three championship games. But what is worse is he had to face the team that beat last year again. Will he be able to pull it off?

I really liked this movie because it has a lot of action. The movie centers around basketball, which is a sport. And that is why I like this movie.

I give this movie 5 paws.

Mans Best Marine!

When Guns Dempsey joins the Marine Corps, he knows without a doubt that he will make a great dog handler. He’s always been good with dogs. In fact, he’s good with people too. So when his commanding officer gives him Loki, the German Shepherd, it’s not what he expects. Will Loki learn not to be so afraid?
I really liked this book because I like war stories and dogs. Most of this book centers on fighting and war and it’s about man’s best friend.  What an exciting read!
If you are a fan of war stories, I recommend this book and give it four paws.

Saving Shiloh!

A couple weeks ago I read the book Shiloh. There is Shiloh the dog, Marty, his parents and two sisters, and last but not least the mean Judd travelers. Shiloh originally was Judd’s dog, but he was mean to him. Judd used to kick Shiloh and three other dogs so Shiloh had to have stitches. :-( Even after Marty bought him, Shiloh still shies from Judd. Will Shiloh ever not be shy?

I really liked the book because I like dogs and mysteries. One of the main characters in the book is a dog, and the plot centers on a murder mystery. I had a hard time putting this book down, and I wanted to read ahead.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes mysteries. I give this book five paws.

Marvelous Marley

Have you ever had a pet that changed your life forever? When John and Jenny got married, they had no idea it would happen to them. Jenny and John got a dog and then had three children. They had to move to a bigger house, and so Marley, the dog, walked the children to bus stop every day. Little did they know dogs don’t last forever.
I really liked this book, because it was funny in parts and sad in others. It was funny because Marley tore up shoes & pillows, and the other funny part was when John & Jenny tried to train Marley. It goes wrong … really, really wrong.

I don’t want to spoil the book, so we won’t talk about the sad parts, but John Grogan, the author, does an amazing job of using descriptive words that make the reader feel.

I recommend this book and give it five paws!!!

Geronimo!

Geronimo Stilton is a mouse that goes on adventures to a place called fantasy land. Everybody thinks he is a knight, but really he’s not. He tries to save the princess of the fairies. Will he succeed?

This is a really good book because it has fantasy and adventure. For example, when Geronimo tries to save the princess they get spotted and attacked by the person that kidnapped her who is a witch. What a great book.

I would recommend this book to a friend, and I give Geronimo Stilton five paws.

Ivy and Bean Bff's forever!

Ivy and Bean are about two wonderful girls. Ivy is all nice and neat, but Bean is messy. They first met when Ivy just moved in the neighborhood Bean has lived in her whole life. Bean is scared that Ivy is going to take over. Will they ever be friends?  JJ J J J J J J J
I like this book because of Bean.  She is really funny, and she likes to make fun of her sister. One time when Bean was grounded, she told her mom that her sister stole some of her money so that she’d be in trouble too. Ivy and Bean is a fantastic book!
If you like books that are funny and enjoyable, you should pick up Ivy and bean. I give it 5 paws!

Five Paws for Frindle!

I just read the book Frindle. It’s a book about a kid named Nick. He’s a “trouble-making” kid. He always has something new to do.
In fifth grade Nick made up a new word, frindle. It means pen. He starts using the new word and gets the whole school to use it. His teacher, Mrs. Granger, is against the new word. She starts making kids stay after school for using the word. Will Nick or Mrs. Granger win?

I loved the book Frindle because it’s very exciting. One example is when a news reporter came to the school and asked Nick and Mrs. Granger questions about the new word. I also liked it because you don’t know what’s going to happen next. One moment he’s the only one using the word, and the next, the whole school is using it.

Overall, I would give this book five paws.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

I would recommend the book Harry potter and the Half- Blood Prince
This is the sixth book in the series. In this book, Harry finds himself on an important mission with Dumbledore. He also finds more about the death-eaters and who they are. With danger and peril around them, will they both come out alive?

I love this book.  One reason I like this book is because the characters are so curious. An example of this is when Harry tells Kreacher (the house elf) to go follow Malfoy.
Another reason I like this book is because they are mischievous. An example of this is when Harry pretends to pour a lucky potion in Ron’s drink and Ron thinks he had lucky potion so he does really well in the
Quiddich match even though Harry didn’t put the potion in his drink.

Overall I think this book is great and I would give it five stars.
