Bella finds a home!

The puppy place series Bella

Have you ever had an abused dog? Well this family has!
In the book The puppy place the pound gets a phone call about an abused dog, then a worker walks into the pound with a dog in her arms. The dog is whimpering. The worker puts the dog in a big cage. Then she walks over to the front desk, and all the workers decide that they will name her Bella. Then the family that owns the pound decides that the youngest daughter will take care of Bella and try to find her an owner. But will the daughter find her an owner?

One reason I liked this book was because all of the chapters ended with a mystery. For example the end of chapter 9 says “will the family have enough people come to the car wash and meet Bella?” Another reason I liked this book was because the author made the story easy to picture in my mind. For example it said in chapter 10 that they were at the car wash in their driveway. People were driving up and parking in the grass, and on the road.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves dogs. I would give this book five paws!

Gotta Love Bandit!

This book Bandit is about a family that finds a dog on the streets that is really hurt on its right back leg. After they find the dog, they take him to the vet. The vet said that he needed surgery. When they got home they named him bandit because it looks like it as a bandit around its eyes. That night the vet called and said that the surgery would cost more than the family had. The next day they took bandit to the vet so that they could talk about the surgery. The vet ran some test on Bandit. Then she told that from the test Bandit also needed heart surgery and that would cost a lot more than the family had. Then when Uncle Henry finds out he tells them that he might have a couple of ways that they could raise the money like a car wash. But it did not go that well. So will the family be able to raise the money for the surgery?

This book is one of my favorite books. This book is not like any other dog book you have read because the author does a good job telling you about a character when he or she comes into the book. For example when Uncle in Hennery comes into the book it tells you that he is a truck driver and loves to have a dog with him when he is traveling. Another reason I like this book is because it is a little sad. For example when the vet says that bandit could die in this surgery. I like this book Bandit and those were the reasons!

I would recommend this book to you because if you like dogs and dog books then you will love this book! I give this 5 paws!!
